Enter into the Karo people region and visit their village of Kortcho and Duss; with beautiful view over the Omo River too. O/N camp Murulle or Duss.

7: Hammer people (Turmi)
Continue for the Hammer people region & O/N Turmi at the Evangadi campsite & lodge. (Camp or fixed tents).

8: Turmi
Turmi, for villages, dance, possibly market & marriage ceremonies.

9: Omorate (Dassanech people) – Turmi
Excursion to Omorate, at the banks of Omo River, for Dassanech tribes & villages. Back for O/N Turmi.

10: Tsemay – Erbore people – Konso
Drive through Tsemay and Erbore people to the Konso villages. O/N Konso local hotel or camp.

11: Borena people region – Yabelo
Enter into Borena people region and afternoon visit ElSOD crater (where down the crater Borena men extract salt for their cattle), Borena villages and more. O/N Yabelo local htl or camping.

12: Guji people – Awasa
Crossing Guji people region and very nice views drive to the Rift Valley lake of Awasa. O/N Pina htl.

13: Addis Ababa
Morning visit the fish market, and then drive back to Addis Ababa, by admiring the Rift Valley lakes of Shala, Abyata and Langano, Afternoon free in Addis.

14: Kombolcha
Drive north to Kombolcha, admiring Afar and Oromo people.

15: Lalibela
Drive Lalibela.

16: Lalibela
Full day visit of the 11 rock-hewn churches in Lalibela.

17: Axum
Fly Axum. Afternoon tour of steles, churches, archeological sites.

1: Addis Ababa
Arrival Addis Ababa. Afternoon tour the National museum and Entoto mountains with views.

2: Bahirdar
Fly Bahirdar, visit Bezait palace and view over Blue Nile falls and lake Tana. Afternoon boat trip on Tana lake to admire 2-3 monasteries with very interesting construction and paintings, as Ura Kidane Mehret and Mahal Zeghie Gyorgis.

3: Blue Nile falls – Gondar
Morning drive to admire the Blue Nile falls, back for lunch. Afternoon drive to Gondar.

4: Gondar
In Gondar, visit the castles compound, King Fasil’s Bath and Debre Birhan Selassie church (Light of Trinity) with wonderful murals, Qusuqam church, Queen Mentewab palace and more.

5: Lalibela
Fly Lalibela. Afternoon visit the first group of the rock churches.

6: Lalibela – Asheten Mariam
Morning, mule excursion to Asheton Mariam, with very nice view through villages. Afternoon the second group of the rock churches.

7: Addis Ababa – Langano
Fly to Addis and lunch there. Drive to Langano Rift Valley Lake. O/N Wenney Lodge or other.

8: Arba Minch
Continue to Arba Minch admiring Wolayta people, their villages and very nice views. Afternoon ascend Chencha hills for the Dorze village to see their culture, work of weaving, cultivation of false banana from which they extract traditional bread (Kotcho), their 18ms high houses and more. Dinner and O/N Swaynes hotel (3*) with spectacular views over the Chamo lake and Abaya lakes and the Nechisar Park.

9: Nechisar park – Chamo lake
Morning Nechisar park, for an early morning game drive. Here you can see wild animals i.e. dominated by Zebras, it’s also possible to see the endemic Swain’s heartbeast, greater and lesser kudus, different gazelles and more. Afternoon boat trip over lake Chamo and encounter the huge hippo colonies and biggest crocodiles in Africa(as some says in the world 6-7ms long). Meals and O/N Swains hotel (3*).

10: Jinka
Drive to Jinka, on the way admire Derashe, Konso, Ari, Benna and Tsemay tribes with their respective villages. Konso are famous for the agricultural work with terracing culture. O/N Jinka local hotel or camp.

11: Mago National Park (mursi people)
Drive to Mago national park and excursion at Mursi people villages. O/N Mago national park camping.

12: Karo people region – Turmi
Cross Karo people region and visit their villages of Kortcho, with also very nice views over Omo river. Drive to Turmi for dinner and O/N Evangadi campsite and lodge. (Camp or fixed tents).

13: Hammer people – Dimeka market
Visit Hammer people villages, culture and possibly their dances. If possible we try to show the unique ceremonies of marriage, with slashing of women, bull jumping, and more. If Mon or Sat visit market of Hamer, Karo and Dassanech people here or near by Dimeka’s village.

14: Arbaminch
Drive to Arbaminch through Erbore people village and afternoon visit Konso people village. Dinner and O/N Swaynes hotel Arbaminch.

15: Addis Ababa
Drive back to Addis Ababa to reach late afternoon.

1: Addis Ababa

2: Addis Ababa � Bahir Dar
Fly to Bahirdar, and transfer hotel for check-in. Morning drive to admire the Blue Nile falls. Lunch back to Bahirdar. Afternoon boat trip on lake Tana to admire the beautiful monasteries over the lake’s islands, as Ura Kidane Mehret and Mahal Zeghie Gyorgis. ON best available htl in Bahirdar

3: BahirDar – Gondar
Morning 2 hrs drive to Gondar. Then visit of castles and churches in Gondar: visit the castle’s compound, the Debre Birhan Sellasie church (light of Trinity) with wonderful murals, the King Fasiladas bath, the old Qusquam monastery, Empress Mentewab palace and more. ON best available htl Gondar.

4: Gondar – Semien Mountains
2 hrs drive to visit the Semien mountains. Then make walks, admiring spectacular views, spot some endemic mammals (as the gelada baboons), birds, very nice flora, and visit some Amhara people villages. ON Debark Sankaber 3* htl

5: Semien Mountains – Axum
Drive to Axum through spectacular views. Lunch box. Arrival afternoon Axum, visit the steles and drive to your hotel for rest and ON. ON best available htl Axum.

6: Axum
Tour of Axum: visit St Mary of Tsion church (where legend says is deposited the Ark of Covenant), the bath and the palace of Queen of Sheba, toms of kings, more archeological sites, and more. ON htl

7: Axum � Lalibela

8: Lalibela
Morning visit one of the churches out of the town. We propose an excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam church, with spectacular views too. Or by car to the cave church of Naktuleab. Afternoon remaining churches in Lalibela.

9: Lalibela � Addis Ababa
Fly to Addis Ababa. Relax and visit of the Ethnographic museum and the Merkato, biggest open air market in Africa. ON hotel.

10: Addis Ababa – Arbaminch
Drive to Arbaminch, admiring very green views, the Guraghe people and villages; as make some stops for the Wolayta people. 11: Arbaminch – Jinka

12: Jinka – Mago National Park
Enter into the Mago National park, admiring different mammals and birds on the way; and proceed to visit the Mursi people and villages. Here for beauty women use to put round plates into their lips. 13: Mago National Park – Turmi
Drive to Turmi, admiring Thursday very colorful KeyAfer village market of the Tsemay and Erbore people. Proceed then to visit the Hamer people. If lucky evening see one of their dances, the Evangadi. Drive to visit the Karo people, for their very interesting decoration and scarification all over their body; and very nice views over Omo river from Kortcho village. 15: Arbaminch
Proceed to Arbaminch, admiring on the way the very colorful

16: Chencha – Chamo Lake – Arbaminch
Morning drive to Chencha, for the Dorze people, with their unique culture, houses, and traditions. Afternoon boat trip on lake Chamo, for the biggest crocodiles in Africa, lot of hippos, birds, and very nice sunset. ON Swaynes hotel

17: Netch Sar park – Langano
Morning visit the Netch Sar National park, sanctuary of endemic Swaynes Hartbeest, numerous zebras, and wonderful views over Chamo & Abaya lakes. Then proceed to Langano, to reach late afternoon to relax with a very nice sunset at the Wenney eco-lodge, secluded in a natural paradise at shore of lake Langano and near to Munessa forest.
